Nashira develops accessible bioinformatic solutions throughout the team, including machine learning (ML) and analytical pipelines for transcriptomic and other wet lab data.

During her PhD at Carleton University, she created ML tools for peptide-based discovery, building off her bachelor’s degree in computational biochemistry. She recently completed a collaborative postdoctoral fellowship in bacterial metagenomics and antimicrobial resistance within healthcare spaces.

Passionate about applying computational approaches to biological discovery, Nashira brings creativity and rigor to advancing Epitopea’s mission of transforming cancer treatment through innovative science.
