Dongjoon is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Epitopea, where he applies bioinformatics and artificial intelligence techniques to identify and characterize tumor-specific antigens.

Prior to joining the team, he specialized in computational genomics and deep learning architectures, such as Transformers and Graph Neural Networks, during his doctoral research at McGill University. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and is motivated by the intersection of AI and biology to advance precision medicine.
